Superheroes, once so rare that large cities were allotted only one, have become so common that most households now have their own Kryptonian errand runner or adamantium-clawed firewood chopper. Explore the world outside your window with today’s deal: for $10, you get $20 worth of comic books or other store items at Heroes. Located in a sprawling, 4,000-square-foot space at 186 Dundas Street, Heroes is southwest Ontario’s largest comic book and collectibles store, a veritable Galactus in a sea of lesser Heralds. Old and new comics titles ($3–$5), manga, trade paperbacks, and graphic novels ($10–$30) muscle their way onto Heroes’ store shelves, ultimately meeting their match against a range of plastic-jawed statues ($100–$200), action figures, and other collectible toys ($10–$20). Card cravers can shuffle over to the store’s stockpile of CCG and sports cards, with individual packs ranging from $2 to $10, and boxes from $80 to $120. Armed with the great power of today’s Groupon, head to Heroes and accept great responsibility over your elaborately illustrated future.
