Q:

I just bought the 45 day deal, wondering if I can buy more than one for my own personal use?

Cielia M.  asked on  Nov 28, 2012

A:

Cielia, Sorry, only one per person. You can buy them for a friend, but not yourself. Thank you, Ian

Q:

I've been doing crossfit with a friend who is a certified crossfit trainer for about six months, do I need to take the fundamentals course or could someone maybe test me to see if I can skip it? I've been wanting to try an actual crossfit gym and am really excited about this!

Cielia M.  asked on  Nov 28, 2012

A:

Cielia, Yes, you can test out of it. You just come in for a class and we'll just see how you move during the class. If you move correctly, we'll let you skip it. Thank you, Ian

Q:

I have never done CrossFit before and want to try it out. If I get the Groupon for the fundamental class is that still going to be a work out? Do we call ahead of time to reserve a spot for the class? Thanks!

Alexis  asked on  Nov 28, 2012

A:

Alexis, Yes, the fundamental class is still a workout. You'll leann the movements and do a short workout. You can just email us to reserve your spot for the whole program. Thank you, Ian

Q:

I'm interested in getting the 10 drop-in classes. This will be my first time doing CrossFit. Do I need to take the fundamentals class first? I can't make the Tue/Thu times so I figured the 10 drop-in classes will work better for my schedule.

Jessica R.  asked on  Nov 27, 2012

A:

Jessica, Thank you for your interest. You can do the 10 drop in classes. We'll teach you then. If you decide to stay, you'll have to take the program sooner or later. We did decide on a 7am Fundamental class if you wanted to do that. If not, just come on in and we'll give you a good workout. If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to help. Thank you for your time. Respectfully, Coach Ian, CPT

Q:

I just purchased the 45 unlimited class option. Are the fundamentals class an option for me to choose from or do I have to go straight into the high intensity classes?

Jenny Y.  asked on  Nov 26, 2012

A:

Jenny, Thank you for your purchase. You will be jumping straight into the classes but we will help you through and teach you the movement. If you decide to stay with us, you will need to take the fundamental classes. If you are a memeber, the program will be free to you. Also, our classes are only as intense as you make them. Thank you for you time and purchase. We look forward to meeting you. If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to help you out. Thank you Ian

Q:

Also are classes outside/ocean or indoors??

Debi A.  asked on  Nov 26, 2012

A:

Debi, You don't have to be in shape to join our classes. We'll help you get into shape. Our intensity level is based on you. However hard you push yourself is how hard we go. You can take your time and ease into it. Also, our classes are held only at our gym now. We use to hold it at Kapiolani Park. Hope this answers your questions. Thank you for your interest and time. We hope to see you at one of our classes. Thank you. Ian

Q:

I'm curious about parking. Where and how much?

Anuilagi N.  asked on  Nov 26, 2012

A:

Anuilagi, Parking is free in the lot. Parking is rough in the evening, but there is a lot of street parking. Hope this helps. Thank you for your time. Ian

Q:

Is there any classes available in the central Oahu area?

leilani m.  asked on  Nov 26, 2012

A:

Leilani, Sorry but all CrossFit gyms have different owners, so this is only for our gym in town. There is a CrossFit gym in Mililani and Waipio. I'm not sure if this helps, but if you have any other questions, I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for your time. Ian
