Hiers Karate School
For nearly 20 years, Sensei Chris Hiers has taught in the martial arts style of Goju Ryu karate, originally developed on the island of Okinawa, Japan. The form incorporates styles from both China and Japan, but Sensei Chris emphasizes not just the importance of learning how to fight and defend oneself, but also develop a sense of honesty, integrity, and hard work. At the school, classes are organized by age and experience level, students as young as four can join in on classes that will help them hone their coordination, self-defense skills, and self-confidence.
