Q:

ok - Gary, I have the boat and the life jackets, oars, paddles, dry bags, frames, and ropes, I just need the guide?

kathy f.  asked on  May 19, 2013

A:

The price would be the same, and because of insurance rules we would need to use our equipment. Its not legal to hire a guide unless he is insured and has a srp for the Deschutes river. My guides all work off my insurance and SRP. Any company that rents you a guide is doing so illegally and both your group and the guide could be fined or arrested over this. Save your self the time and effort and buy a groupon and come with us.

Q:

I have all of these items: life jackets, oars, paddles, dry bags, frames, and ropes, Can you lower the cost for me?

kathy f.  asked on  May 19, 2013

A:

Sorry we supply our equipment and the cost of the trip is not related to the equipment. This is the lowest cost trip you will find anywhere.

Q:

sorry to be so confused. I bought 4 groupons for 4 people. Now I am thinking I should have bought two. Can you please clarify?

Becky S.  asked on  May 15, 2013

A:

Hi Becky, There are two current options for the Groupon. The $60 option is valid for 2 people and the $120 option is valid for 4 people. If you have a total of 4 people, you would need to buy one of the $120 options. Thanks!

Q:

Is there any way I could just buy for 3 people? We want to all upgrade to full day too.

Marlo M.  asked on  May 14, 2013

A:

I'm sorry, the Groupons are only good for the value and services offered and cannot be altered or substituted in anyway.

Q:

Does the raft hold 6 in total? Reason I ask is that to make this deal work for my group of 6, I would need to buy a 2pk and a 4 pk correct? Just want to make sure if I go ahead that all 6 of us will be on the same raft and trip....Thank you, Eric

Eric M.  asked on  May 14, 2013

A:

The rafts hold 6-7 plus a guide in the 14' and 8-9 in the 15' so yes your group would need a 2pk and a 4pk

Q:

Is the times you leave the same for the full day? How long are the half and full days?

Katie  asked on  May 14, 2013

A:

The full day trip leaves at 9:30 am and finishes at 4 pm it includes a very nice BBQ lunch and is 18 miles in length. The 1/2 day is about 2.5 to 3 hrs and goes straight thru with no food or stops

Q:

What is the minimum age for this Groupon? I have a 8 yr old who is not afraid of nuthin'. Thanks

juliana b.  asked on  May 14, 2013

A:

Our min for this trip is that the child weigh around 45 lbs so that the life jackets we use would fit properly. That usually equates to kids around 5-6 as a min age. Its always good to have had your child around water and splashing as the waves do splash over the raft at times.
