What You'll Get
If life is just a bowl of cherries, then bowling is a life of launching twelve-pound cherry-flavored gumballs. Experience life's sweetest pastime with today's Groupon: for $10, you get two games and two shoe rentals (up to a $28 value) at High Rollers Luxury Lanes and Lounge, nestled inside Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket.
Bowling is taken to an entirely new, ostentatious level at High Rollers, where nostalgic Las Vegas decor compliments 20 well-maintained lanes. Dark wood floors, sleek marble, and chandeliers contrast traditional alley adornments, adding old-world class that begs gents to dress to the nines or tens or the point of looking acceptably stylish. For added indulgence, pin-striking pinstripes can kick back with fellow guests in the full-service dining area replete with comfortable chairs and affordable fare.
Because of its elegant setting, the alley has been known to attract a range of shining stars, including Kim Kardashian and three of the four notches in Orion’s belt. In line with this upscale aesthetic, the alley does maintain a dress code after 7 p.m. (no work boots, sweatpants, cargo pants, tank tops, baseball hats, or chains).
NBC Connecticut and the blog See Mystic Country CT featured High Rollers Luxury Lanes and Lounge. The Hartford Courant covered the opening as part of its "Java with MarryEllen" section. The Boston Herald also mentioned it.
