Q:

Could we have parents buy their own Groupon and use these together for a Girl Scout outing? Also... how about 11 year olds? Can they paddle alone?

Katina M.  asked on  Apr 11, 2013

A:

In our sunset tours or Sunday tours kids 13 and under would need to be in a two seater kayak with a parent. Sounds like you would need to set up a private event with us. Our number is 972-272-3353

A:

To elaborate, if you have enough people we can do a private tour and allow the girls to be in their own kayak. Give us a call to discuss

Q:

On this deal - where it says "sunset kayak tour" and "sunday kayak tour" - does this mean Sunday only or just during the day? Can it be used during the day on the weekend (Saturday or Sunday)? I don't want to go at nighttime. :-/

Melanie W.  asked on  Apr 11, 2013

A:

The Sunset tour is done Tuesday and Thursday night. We try and have all the kayaks back in before dark. From past experience the June and July tours are always out before dark with the sun setting later. The Sundays tours are held Sundays with various times. Right now taught 9:00-11:00 twice a month but will include some a little later in the day after noon

Q:

What is the age limit... I have a daughter who is 8.

Robert K.  asked on  Apr 11, 2013

A:

For an 8 year old, they would need to ride in a two seat kayak with a parent. They will still paddle but will have the help and support of the parent.
