About Highland Renaissance Festival

While the Kentucky Renaissance Fair celebrates the era of knights and tapestries, it doesn't limit itself to it. In addition to hosting an annual Celtic Festival, archery tournaments, and bands covering the greatest hits from the 14th–16th centuries, the fair has offerings from more recent eras as well. These include concerts in conjunction with country radio station Froggy, a fall fest with a twisting corn maze and s'mores, and a Dickens Christmas Festival, during which Oliver Twist battles the knights of the realm for a bowl of porridge.
