The World War II re-enactment was a treat to our part of 4. My son's friend was a history buff and he was impressed with all of the World War II items and the re-enacted battle near the end of the war in 1945. Finding the details about the event took some effort, but once you found it, then you knew you had to be there at 2:00 pm to see the acted battle. There were folks dressed as soldiers from Germany, Britain and the USA. There were the different camps of the allies and Germans, gun demonstrations and plenty of items which belonged to the 1945 era. We also bought some refreshments prior to the major battle. This was a cool and sunny day and this event was enjoyed by all.
