Until mankind first stepped outside in 1934, nature was thought to be a fanciful myth, like yogourt or the clutch hitter. Spend a few hours frolicking through the fresh air of truth with today's Groupon to Holiday Trails RV Resorts. This Groupon expires September 5. Choose between the following options:
• For $80, you get four consecutive nights of RV camping (a $208 value), including one bundle of firewood (a $6.50 value), WiFi access (a $12 value), cable TV (a $12 value; Camperland only), and a four-person pass to Bridal Falls Waterpark (a $78.56 value), at Bridal Falls Camperland RV Resort in Rosedale or Sunshine Valley RV Resort & Cabins (up to a $317.06 total value).
• For $80, you get four consecutive nights of tent camping (a $208 value), including one bundle of firewood (a $6.50 value), WiFi access (a $12 value), and a four-person pass to Bridal Falls Waterpark (a $78.56 value), at Bridal Falls Camperland RV Resort in Rosedale (a $305.06 total value).
Bridal Falls Camperland and Sunshine Valley encompass sprawling campground facilities replete with full RV hookups, washroom facilities, and both on-site and off-site activities. At Bridal Falls Camperland, intrepid outdoorsmen pitch tents or shift their recreational vehicles into park at the base of Mount Cheam's towering peaks. Computers and marshmallow-fuelled cyborgs connect to the campground's WiFi, and each Camperland RV site includes cable television access, allowing campers to watch their favourite sitcoms while sitting under the stars. Toss equine footwear at the horseshoe pit or send pucks flying outside of gravity's rule during games of shuffleboard.
After an evening tanning marshmallows over the fire, camp groups can trek over to Bridal Falls Waterpark. Slide down heated waterslides, or strap on inner tubes to float, splash, and spontaneously dissolve into simulated river rapids. After drenching their hair on the aptly named Water Blaster slide, visitors can break for lunch at a picnic area. Meanwhile, at Sunshine Valley, campers can hook up their RVs and then steer mountain bikes across more than 100 kilometres of nearby trails, hike at Manning Provincial Park, or take naps on the treadmills in the fitness centre. Bodies can dog-paddle in a heated outdoor swimming pool or relax warmly in hot tubs.
