Q:

Could you explain the difference between the: Choose Between Two Options •$29 for $60 worth of video- and audio-transfer equipment •$39 for $90 worth of video- and audio-transfer equipment And then I see you have the VHS to DVD 5.0 Deluxe ($79.99) So I'm not sure what we are getting for $29 or $29 or $79 ? Thanks!

Shelley M.  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

A:

For this Groupon deal, you choose the products you want on the Honestech website. You will have either $60 or $90 to spend on their website. If your order exceeds the value of the Groupon, you would pay the difference. You can see all of their available products by clicking here.

If you are using the dual-layer DVD, then you can record up to 4 hours of video using the "Average" quality setting. Using the "Best" quality setting, you can record up to 2 hours on a dual-layer DVD. You can also record the movie onto 2 separate single-layer DVDs at "Average" quality setting also.

A:

Using a single-layer (normal) DVD, you can store up to 2 hours of video at normal setting or 1 hour at best quality. You can use the dual-layer DVD to double the length of video you can store on one DVD. However, some DVD players may have trouble reading the dual-layer discs.

Q:

Why are the amounts $39 and $90 when the products are $59 and $79? There is no way to get the 5.0 deluxe without losing $10 because the shipping is not included. This just really makes no sense to me if I cannot use any of their other products and they have nothing to buy like cables ect. that wouldn't cost $40 on up. I spent a good hour or more trying to figure out if this is a deal worth getting, and because of this I don't think it is because stores like Walmart have this item at a very reasonable price. It just doesn't make any sense to try to get business like this! Why would should your customers lose $10 even if it is a deal?????

PATRICIA G.  asked on  Dec 18, 2012

A:

Sorry for the confusion. They have other products as well in which the Groupon would be valid.
