Certified instructors teach the small-group CrossFit classes, which combine elements of gymnastics, weightlifting, track and field, and long-distance running. The workouts differ from one class to the next, so every session is different.
Hook & Ladder CrossFit
The workouts at Hook & Ladder CrossFit may not be as intense as fighting a fire, but they're close. Seasoned firefighter David Pelham and his team of fellow CrossFit Level 1–certified coaches make sure of that. During their daily CrossFit workouts, they push exercisers through a series of pull-ups, squats, pushups, weight-lifting, and other functional exercises. By design the workouts should be completed as quickly as possible and can be customized to suit all ages and fitness levels.
