Q:

Are the Groupon beginnier gymnastics classes for a 4 year old only offered on Tuesday nights or is there another day/time offering?

Dawn V.  asked on  Feb 23, 2013

A:

Hi Dawn, Our Introductory classes are offered only on Tuesday nights during the school year. For special circumstances, we are able to make exceptions to allow a child into our curriculum-based program classes. However, this would be based on availability in the classes, and the difference in price would have to be paid. For example, a month of classes in our 4&5 year old program is $66. You could apply your Groupon and pay the difference of $26. I hope this helps! Thanks, Crystal

Q:

In conjunction with the question below about ages; my daughter is 19 months old. She'll be 2 on July 5th, but the groupon expires June 25th. Would we still be able to make it work at all?

kaytie  asked on  Feb 21, 2013

A:

Hi Kaytie, We do not offer Introductory Classes for children that young- sorry! We do have our Baby Bears class in our regular curriculum based classes. This class is offered on Monday nights from 5:30-6pm with parent participation. Our regular price for this class is $51, so you could use your $40 Groupon voucher towards that class and just pay the $11 difference if you'd like. I hope this helps! Thanks, Crystal

Q:

I have 2 daughters ages 4 and 5. Would you allow the 4 year old to join in with the 5 year old for the Ballet/Gymnastics combination class on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30? They have both had gymnastics lessons at another gym, but neither have taken dance classes (only 1 preview class at the Kroc Center). I wouldn't mind splitting them up, but it looks like the other classes are on Monday nights and I work that night. Thanks!

Elizabeth H.  asked on  Feb 21, 2013

A:

Hi Elizabeth, You were looking at the schedule for our regular program classes. The Groupon deal is not good for those classes. It is good for Introductory Classes only. Our Introductory Classes are larger in size and more ages grouped together- those are the main differences from our regular curriculum-based programs. Anyway, there is a Dance/Gymnastics Combo class for 4-6 year olds on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:15 that both girls could go in! Otherwise, for that age group, there is a Tumble Tykes gymnastics class Tuesdays from 5:45-6:35pm. I hope this helps! Thanks, Crystal

Q:

Can the four classes be taken anytime or do classes run only specific times (Jan-March, etc.)? In other words, would my son be able to take the classes right away or would we have to wait for a new session? Thanks.

Bethany M.  asked on  Feb 21, 2013

A:

Hi Bethany, We do have 4 week sessions. I believe we are in week 3 of this current session, so you would be able to purchase the Groupon and sign up for the next session that starts in 2 weeks. The sessions do run back-to-back, so there is a new one starting every 4 weeks. I hope this helps! Thanks, Crystal

Q:

How long are the classes.... 1 hour each week? Also, what time of day would they be for a 4 year old and 9 year old? We've done a summer camp thing there but have never taken lessons officially. Would we still be new students?

Laura S.  asked on  Feb 20, 2013

A:

Hi Laura, The 3-5 year old class is 45 minutes, and the school age class is 55 minutes. Our Summer Camps are not part of our regular program, so yes, you would still be considered a new member. The classes being offered with this Groupon are our Community Classes, and are not subject to the annual membership fee, which would qualify you as a member. I hope this helps! Thanks, Crystal

Q:

How long is each class? 30 min., 45 min., 1hr.?

Michael R.  asked on  Feb 20, 2013

A:

Hi Michael, It depends on the age of the child. For example, our parent-tot classes for up to 3 years old run 30 minutes, while 3-4 year old classes are 45, and then older children will go for 55 minutes. I hope this helps! Thanks, Crystal

Q:

Just wondering about some conflicting information... In one part of the Groupon description, it says "BEGINNER gymnastics classes teach basic tumbling to students as young as 4 months", and the Groupon is for "four BEGINNER gymnastics classes for one child". But then in another part of the description, it says "Must be 2-12 years old." My twin girls are just over a year old (14 months), and I'd love to use this Groupon to try out gymnastics with them. So, are they eligible to use this?

Sarah M.  asked on  Feb 20, 2013

A:

Hi Sarah, I'm not sure why Groupon wrote 4 months & up - I'm guessing they got the info from our website. We do offer classes for that age, but not for the introductory classes being offered through Groupon. To answer your question, yes, you may use it, but you would have to wait for the summer, where you could try our Baby Bears class, which is for 18 months & up. I hope this helps! Thanks, Crystal
