- $22 for $40 worth of traditional American food for dinner
"Horn's" is emblazoned in white block letters right on the front window—a striking design that proclaims the restaurant's identity while recalling the old-fashioned eateries that inspired its creation. Though Horn's is still in its first year, its antique ceiling fans, hardwood floors, and vintage photographs hung on the walls pay tribute to the atmosphere of a much older neighborhood restaurant. A sidewalk dining patio illuminated by string lights also connects the eatery with its surroundings and gives weary visitors a place to air out their riding cloaks. Perhaps Horn's main nod to a different era, though, is its cuisine. Simple club sandwiches are served alongside updated takes on Southern classics, such as tender pork belly in white-bean stew and spicy fried chicken on sweet-potato waffles. Meanwhile, a bar decorated with vintage airplane propellers serves coffee, beer, and cocktails.
