How far in advance would you have to make the reservations, especially since it is weather permitted? And what happens if you have reservations and the weather does not permit? Can you re-book for another day?

Hi Cindy, I would recommend calling quickly to make your reservations after you buy the GroupOn. We have cruises going out every Saturday and Sunday before Christmas in Sacramento but they can fill up. If it is raining the cruise will normally still go. If it is unsafe then the cruise will be canceled, our trained professional captains will make this call. If it is canceled you will have the opportunity to re-book with us. I would like to take my son to this event (one adult, one child) but there is only the option of a single adult or a family four pack available. The single child option is sold out. How do I go about purchasing a ticket for my son?

Q:

I was wondering the same things: are we guaranteed a spot on one of the dates, and if not, what happens? When you say that we can re-book on one of the regular historic cruises during the rest of the year, will the ticket voucher be accepted for the Groupon rate or will we have to pay the diffference up to the actual retail value of the tickets?

Q:

#1) Are these cruises going UP (North) on the Sacramento River or Down (South) on the Sacramento River ? #2) Since we must make Reservations and they ONLY run om the weekends in December, BUT are subject to weather conditions.. #3) What happens IF it's raining on the day of our reservation ? do they reSchedule us for a later date and do we get a choice ? Usually we get less rain in January.. Maybe Santa could just be "Jack Frost" in January ?? Thank you for answering these questions.. I would like to take the cruise but these questions NEED to be answered.

The cruise ventures both ways a bit. We cruise under the Tower Bridge and the I-Street Bridge depending on conditions. If it rains we do still cruise it is when it is more severe weather that we would cancel a cruise. If your cruise is canceled you can choose another day to cruise in December. If you can't re-book during this time you can go on one of our regular historic river cruises that run during the rest of the year.
