Getting your recommended daily dosage of cowboy has been a trying task ever since Hollywood stopped producing Westerns and your 10-gallon hat was ruined by that 10-gallon guacamole recipe. Go west with today's Groupon, which gets you admission to the Roots N' Boots Queen Creek Pro Rodeo at the Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre in Queen Creek. Groupon customers can purchase a date-specific Groupon to see the rodeo on either Friday, March 25 or Saturday, March 26. On both nights, the rodeo runs from 7:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., with the following seating options available:

  • For $6, you get one adult general-admission ticket (a $12 value).
  • For $10, you get one box-seat ticket (a $20 value).

With an exhilarating display of riding, racing, and roping prowess in a host of riveting spectator events, the Roots N' Boots Queen Creek Pro Rodeo celebrates the town's ranching roots in its first-ever rodeo exhibition. World-class horse handlers will lock horns in a series of professional rodeo events such as saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, and bull riding. Team roping events pit a lariat-clasping combo against the heft and guile of a full-size steer—the same foe featured in the all-ropes-barred spectacle known as steer wrestling.

In addition to hosting heart-pumping rope rivalries, the Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre caters to gourmands and game buffs with 14 carnival rides and 10 games ($1 per ticket, 1–8 tickets depending on activity), as well as a variety of handy eats hocked by numerous vendors. Those who opt to attend the rodeo on Saturday will also be able to soak up the sounds of the first-annual rodeo's first-annual free concert. Event parking is available for $5.
