Hot Pot Legend
Choices abound at Hot Pot Legend. Upon arriving, diners begin by selecting a broth: options range from savory Chinese mushroom to spicy Chongqing-style, and bowls with dividers even allow customers to sample two soups side-by-side if they so choose. Once the pots arrive, gas-powered table burners keep broths steaming and simmering while guests peruse a massive selection of raw meats, vegetables, and side dishes. These can include small plates of thin-sliced rib eye steak, lotus root, noodles, fresh squid, enoki mushrooms, and spinach, all ready to be dunked and cooked in the piping hot soup. The approach is all-you-can-eat, though diners also have the option to add-on side dishes such as frog legs or lamb skewers.
