- Bikram yoga: During the classes, participants practise a set series of yoga postures and breathing exercises in a room heated to 105 °F to increase blood circulation and improve muscle strength.
- Vinyasa yoga: During the classes, participants are guided through a dynamic sequence of yoga poses linked to the breath.
- Yin yoga: During the classes, participants hold yoga poses for a prolonged period of time to promote relaxation, improve flexibility, and increase circulation in the joints.
- Yoga Nidra or “yogic sleep” is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. It’s usually practiced lying down with a teacher guiding the session.
