What You'll Get
Like hearts, wineglasses are fragile, full of goodness, and frequently broken. Live life to the brim with this Groupon.
Choose Between Three Options
- $47 for a cheese, fruit, and dessert tasting for four ($90 value)
- $22 for a cheese, fruit, and dessert tasting for two ($45 value)
- $64 for a cheese, fruit, and dessert tasting for six ($135 value)
Each tasting includes a platter brimming with five cheeses, such as manchego aged for three months in Spain and gouda imported from Holland, as well as a housemade Tuscan olive three-cheese spread. Sweeter bites include sliced pears, grapes, fruit preserves, and honey-glazed pecans, all of which offset decadent desserts of organic dark chocolate and cherry-heart tarts à la mode or s’mores, which guests can make at their table over an open flame.

About House Wine and Spy House Tasting Lounge
Tired of simply dressing up her rooms, designer Kerry White needed a way to engage clients on a deeper sensory level. Adopting the motto of “wine, art, and song”, she opened House Wine to match her eye for interiors with the refined tastes of vintages and the lilting sound of live, local music. Sporting both an earth-toned dining area and a sun-dappled outdoor lounge replete with cushy couches, the wine bar leaves plenty of space for guests to explore an extensive wine list, sample cheese plates, and clasp handheld bites of spinach and goat cheese empanadillas from the award-winning Mmmpanadas or artisan pizzas from Bola Pizza. Bards from across Austin fill the space with tuneful sounds, and local artists bring life to walls with their paintings of abstract landscapes.
Opening at dusk, House Wine's Spy House Tasting Lounge features unique tastings to explore the enigmatic wines of boutique vineyards from around the world, curated by sommelier Blake Ethridge. Guests can enjoy bottle service and instrumental music, and pair wine samples with artisan cheeses, tapas, or tins—smoked fish served with spicy green beans, in-house cheese spread, and crackers. Aside from wine, guests can try a refreshing frosé, which is made with languedoc rosé, fresh strawberries, red vermouth, and a squeeze of lemon.
