Q:

Follow-up to question by David K.. When I go to purchase this groupon it is asking me which location I would like to purchase the groupon for leading me to believe that they are for specific locations not any of the five locations. The last Humper. groupon did not list the five locations with " purchase " next to each. Please clarify. Thanks

A:

Hi David K.,

Q:

Can this Groupon be used the day of purchase or do you have to wait until the next day to use it? I bought another restaurant groupon to use for dinner one night and we were not able to use it because it didn't activate until the next day. If this is the case with all of the restaurant groupons, then it should be in the fine print or the rules that apply to all groupons.

Taylor C.  asked on  Sep 7, 2011

A:

Hi Taylor C.,
You can use most Groupons the day after you buy them. We cannot provide the business with their complete list of people who have purchased these until the deal is closed, and until then they may not be ready to accept your Groupon.

Q:

I just bought my first Groupon deal for Humperdinks. I bought it for a co-worker as I don't eat there. However, I just noticed (after purchasing) that there is also a Buy for a Friend option. If didn't use that! Will I be able to give the one I bought to my co-worker?

Clarissa E.  asked on  Sep 6, 2011

A:

Hi Clarissa E.,
If you purchased a Groupon but it did not process as a gift, it will have the purchaser's name on it which cannot be changed. However, your Groupon also has a unique ID number that the business uses to identify Groupon customers, so the person redeeming the Groupon does not have to be the person who bought it (unless otherwise specified in the Fine Print for that deal). All of our merchants understand this and your Groupon will still be redeemable as a gift!
