About Hungarian Rhapsody

Hungarian Rhapsody is an authentically Eastern European establishment, complete with a traditional menu of hearty favorites and table linens imported from Kalocsa, Hungary. The kitchen turns out a wide range of dishes that run the gamut from stuffed cabbage and veal cutlet Magyarvary-style to a sweet, crowd-pleasing Kremes or Somloi, a rum torte. The people behind this push for authenticity are owners Steve and Darlene Szatmari, who opened Hungarian Rhapsody in 1993. They've decorated the space with so many Hungarian artifacts and crafts that their restaurant doubles as a mini-museum, one far more interesting than a diner with lots of old menus.
