Hunt's Gymnastics Academy
Paul Hunt has toured the world as the pigtailed and hairy-chested "Paulette Huntesque," delighting crowds with a comedic gymnastics routine alongside superstars such as Mary Lou Retton and Nadia Comaneci. But as a coach at Hunt's Gymnastics Academy, Paul boasts a résumé that's just as impressive as Paulette's. Not only was he a national champion, but he coached Utah's first Olympic-level gymnast, as well as many other championship- and scholarship-winning athletes.
Alongside other highly qualified instructors, Paul teaches gymnastics and tumbling to children of all ages at Hunt's Gymnastics Academy. Kids can start as young as 3, working on honing motor skills and self-esteem in Tots classes. The academy's most committed students can eventually work toward a spot on the competition team. But the school doesn't just focus on traditional gymnastics—instructors also lead aerial silks classes and yoga sessions, which help students develop the flexibility to out-bend even Gumby.
