I had a good time at the sushi making class. The teacher was very knowledgeable, kind, and was willing to provide helpful tips for making sushi at home. The groupon price for the class was reasonable, the normal price isn't in my opinion. Maybe if the environment was more fun and they provided some beverages I would consider paying more. It was at Tom's Oyster Bar, but everything was served on paper plates, dixie cups, and paper towel; and the tables were kind of small and things got messy quickly. I had fun with my friend and learned how to roll sushi, but I wasn't overly impressed by the set up.

The company itself and the schedule is VERY unorganized. They never know what venue until almost the day of which doesn't help people plan to attend very easily. The class i took started a hr late because the teacher wasn't informed he was teaching. I think the value is worth it if you have a groupon- but if not ... it's overpriced for what you get.

The first lesson I signed up for was canceled which meant to reschedule I had to work through their email support since in their system they had already marked it as used even though they canceled the class. That experience had me a little wary but I had a great time at the class. The instructor and assistants were very helpful and encouraging. It was a lot of fun! I would definitely consider taking another class with them in the future.
