Opened in 1965, Rostraver Ice Garden, a 5,000-seat multi-purpose ice arena, has been home to multiple hockey teams, like the Steel City Warriors of the Federal Hockey League. So for the average skater, its professional facilities are more than enough. The main attraction is obviously the rink, which hosts open skating and seasonal hockey games. But visitors unaccustomed to skating needn't worry—a pro shop supplies rental equipment, and skating classes guide beginners through the basics. Then, after a day on the rink, tired guests can refuel with a burger and a beer while overlooking the arena at Murph’s Pub.
