I like the drop in aspect of idance. Went to Langley studio and it is very cold and not really great atmosphere. Doesn't work for yoga, miss the warm, dim lights and good soothing sound. Sound is bad for dance and yoga there. I did have fun but think I will look around before doing more idance visits.

About iDance

Frustrated with the often intimidating and unwelcoming atmosphere afforded to nonprofessional dancers in dance classes, Jane Stevens and her sister Anne founded iDance. According to an interview with Metro, the sisters “designed [the studio] to be fun and fitness oriented and very nonintimidating.” Four years and two new locations later, Jane upholds her original goals of egalitarian dance both by employing a team of friendly and motivating instructors and by offering classes that cater to pupils of all abilities. Hints of Jane’s background as both a skilled dancer and dedicated group-fitness instructor can be found in each studio as instructors lead classes ranging from traditional movement methods such as ballet and jazz to classes that fuse fitness and dance including cardio salsa, yoga dance, and underwater hokey pokey.
