Founded by Winemakers Anna Marie dos Remedios and Deb Payne, Idle Hour Winery serves refined wines that pair well with elegant food. Named after a vessel that belonged to Anna Marie's grandfather, the vineyard produces wines that are fermented using native yeasts and gravity-flow racking, among others. Among a wide selection of wines, wine lovers taste single-vineyard designated varietals, such as Pinot Noir which blends the taste of a dark cherry chocolate truffle with the aroma of savory soy sauce. Their Tempranillo, on the other hand, combines plum fruit and floral aromas with vanilla and caramel oak flavors.
