Italian native and Il Bacco owner Giuseppe Oppedisano has built his restaurant on three basic pillars: good food, friendly service, and charming decor. It seems like a straightforward approach, but Il Bacco's ability to excel in all three categories has turned it into a staple of the Little Neck dining scene.

The menu, conversely, isn't quite as focused. Rather than highlight the cuisine from one specific region of Italy, it covers the entire country. Fresh fish, classic pastas, refined pizzas, and tender veal dishes stand out, and hearty Southern sauces punctuate many plates. To drink, Il Bacco also boasts an impressive wine list with bottles from all over the globe.
