Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

How does this compare to Juvederm or other fillers and will it work for marionette lines or lines by the nose? Thanks.

Julia f.  asked on  Dec 27, 2012

A:

Radiesse works best around the nasolabial folds (lines between the nose and the lips) and in the cheeks, and is preferable to Juvederm and Perlane in these areas as the volume per syringe is more. We find Juvederm and Perlane are especially good for the lips - though it is very artistic and highly individualized. The biggest difference is the artist performing the injections, as different injectors make the products look different. Many practitioners perform fillers, very few have the experience of our double board certified physician injectors. No nurse injectors here.

More Questions and Answers

Q:

Thanks so much. Have done botox but never a filler and would prefer a surgeon to do it certainly as I've heard scary stories. So this would still be OK for marionette lines and/or can substitute for another filler if you think that something else would be better?

Julia f.  asked on  Dec 27, 2012

A:

Absolutely! We use specialized cannulas for all of our fillers that are proven to be the safest technique available. And you are correct, only double board certified surgeons inject at ImageLift. We do allow substitutions or credit towards other products or services if that is your preference.

Q:

Will it actually be administered by a board certified cosmetic surgeon or a PA?

Alisa S.  asked on  Dec 26, 2012

A:

All of our injections are performed by Double Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeons. We are among the top injectors in the country. Great Question! Dr. Castellano
