Q:

If I've never worn contacts, do I need to do a fitting? and is that included or how much does that cost?

buffi d.  asked on  Apr 25, 2012

A:

Great question Buffi D. The fee varies with the level of difficulty required. It's free if it's just a re-order, but in the case of more complex fittings like hard or rigid gas permeable lens (RGP's), there may be a nominal fee just to cover the doctor's time.

Q:

I just called the Sevenoaks location to make an appt. They first told me that thy were only using 100$ towards the purchase of glasses bc their prices were already lowered...and then they said that they dont do contacts. I can live with the 100$ but it clearly says on the website that that location does contacts, and I have gotten contacts from there before. I also have a pair of frames there that I like already, and she said that they would not likely have the same pair at other locations...so what do I do?

Kristalynn K.  asked on  Apr 25, 2012

A:

Sounds like you may have spoken to a staff member that isn't familiar with the program. I know that Seven Oaks Image is running a sale right now, and as stated in the ad, "Not valid for sale items." but I've spoken with the staff there, and they will provide whichever option that gives you the biggest bang for your buck. Also, they will provide the contacts. You can email me directly if you need any assistance: Questions@image.ca
