I don't know if I can say enough about the amazing experience I had doing the boudoir photo shoot with Rachel! First, I did this for no reason other than I wanted to for myself as a reminder of how beautiful I am and how far I have come. So I walked in with some confidence, but very low expectations for loving the pictures. That being said, I figured the cost of the Groupon just to go get glammed up and feel sexy was worth the price and I would most likely purchase a single photo just to have it and say I did it. From start to finish, the experience was awesome. The studio was visually appealing when I walked in, the room in the back where the makeup artist did my hair and makeup was comfortable and calming and I was made to feel at ease from the beginning. I did not have a specific idea in mind for makeup, so I just gave some vague likes and dislikes and she did a great job! I was a little worried that the eye makeup was not bold enough, so she corrected it (very minor), but honestly I am glad I listened to her suggestions about how it photographs, because it looked so good in print! She took her time and never rushed, even through curling my hair which took quite some time. During the time I was getting glamorous, Rachel went through my many, many outfits and helped pick out what she thought was going to look best, hung them up and asked if anything needed to be steamed. She then put together the backgrounds and scenes for each outfit. Both Rachel and the beautician were so complimentary and made me feel confident and beautiful. During the shoot, Rachel modeled each pose, changed her mind if she did not like it, adjusted angles and lighting and a fan to blow my hair back like a real model! I did not feel like she had a few cookie cutter poses that everyone did no matter how it looked, it was very individualized. She even took the time to show me a few photos as she was shooting and comment on how good it looked without any editing, which only made me more comfortable and excited about the outcome. Waiting until the following week to see the photos took some patience because I was anxious to see that one good photo I was going to purchase. As it turned out, there wasn't that "one good photo" because there were about 20 amazing photos! I don't know how she was able to bring out such calm, confidence and NATURAL beauty in photographs of me, but she sure did!! During the viewing, she never pushed me to make a large purchase or any purchase at all, really. I had such a hard time narrowing it down, that I bought a package of 16! I waited about 2 weeks to write this review just to be sure my satisfaction was not short lived once the initial love of the pics wore off, but still going strong and no buyer's remorse(very rare for me)! Rachel is more than a photographer, she is an artist and motivator! Ladies, don't wait until there is a person or occasion to do this. Do it for yourself, do it today. I cant imagine anyone can be disappointed!
