In Imagination Avenue’s 3,500-square-foot, climate-controlled play space, kids let their creativity run wild around a kid-size metropolis made up of nine playhouses and a jungle gym. Youngsters zip through the play area, hobnobbing with other children and plumbing the depths of their creative reservoirs by selling make-believe wares at the market, teaching lessons at the school, or re-enacting legendary Johnny Cash concerts in the jail. On the outskirts of town, children can dabble with puzzles and coloring books, or stage their own productions at the puppet theater.
During birthday celebrations, a party host will deck out private rooms for merry-making. For an extra fee, the party can be decorated in a “Happy Birthday,” “Flowers and Butterflies,” or “Sports” theme. Parents can refuel with food from home or snacks and drinks from the Imagination Café, not included in the Groupon.
On Imagination Avenue, kids eight and under rule the roost. Kids let their creativity soar as they pretend in any of nine playhouses that compose a scaled-down replica of Anytown, USA. Speed demons borrow cars from the firehouse to cruise Main Street, while aspiring builders browse Home Depot for the materials needed to shore up the schoolhouse walls. Each business is stocked with props and toys, ranging from dress-up clothes in the boutique to out-of-date National Geographics at the medical clinic. When kids get tired of tea parties, the onsite café purveys healthy snacks such as almond-butter and jelly sandwiches and deli sandwiches on artisan rolls. Imagination Avenue also offers birthday party packages and hosts special events throughout the year.
