IMB Images Photography owner Butch Bernstein has been snapping shots since the early 1970s, bringing a wealth of experience and his improvisational approach to imaging to these sessions. Rejecting the formal, stuffy look of precolonial Polaroids, Butch choreographs comfortable, natural scenes to capture pure personalities and resonant relationships during shoots that allow an unlimited number of subjects to participate. To ensure clients remain relaxed, sessions are not confined to strict time limits, allowing ample opportunity to harvest a crop of quality shots. Seven to ten days after picture-taking, models can choose any four or eight of the following print options: one 8"x10", two 5"x7", four 4"x6", or a sheet of eight wallet-sized photographs to fit snugly inside a wallet-sized oyster shell.

About IMB Images Photography
Butch Bernstein gave up the corporate world to follow his passion for photography, opening IMB Images Photography in 2007. During sessions, Butch strives to capture his subjects’ natural essence and eschews stiff, traditional composition for more lighthearted posing. His portfolio showcases this easy-going bent with outdoor shots of kids in the grass, in-studio family portraiture, and mini-box sessions that squeeze subjects into white cubes to produce a collage of unique images that fit nicely on any mantelpiece or highway billboard.
