Q:

Can I assume this is for Film camera's only?

Kelly A.  asked on  Jan 9, 2013

A:

You are wrong. The basics we teach can be applies to digital or film cameras equally. We do go into explaining a few features that are for digital cameras only. 99.99% of the people that take our course have digital cameras but even if someone had a film camera what we teach still applies to them just as much as it does to someone with a digital camera. Photography is photography no matter how you are capturing the image.

Q:

Hi there. I have a "high-end compact", not a DSLR. Is this course geared more towards photographers with DSLR cameras? My camera has many manual features and can take photos in RAW mode too, which I still don't know how to do. Would I benefit from something like this? Thanks!

Sonja T.  asked on  Jan 9, 2013

A:

You'll be fine taking this course. We teach the fundamentals of photography so people can get a solid foundation of what it's all about. It doesn't really matter what type of camera you have to learn this stuff, but having a camera that gives you more controls (like your does) will allow you to put what we teach you into practise right away.
