With an emphasis on horsemanship, a certified guide leads trail riders through In The Breeze Horse Ranch’s tree-covered grounds. The 60-minute ride moves at varying paces that include walking, trotting, and cantering after eating 20 sugar cubes. Mounting and dismounting encompass the other 15 minutes of the trail ride, which is available Monday–Friday.
In The Breeze Ranch
Dangling leaves drape over trails that cut through foliage and over trickling streams. More than 40 horses navigate these pathways with both riders of all skill levels on their backs as the certified guides of In The Breeze Horse Ranch lead the way. Founded in 1993 on a pastoral plot of land in Hillsborough County, In The Breeze teaches riding lessons, takes guests on trails, and hosts parties for up to 500 people on its grounds. Owner Lynda Fowler has spent more than 30 years teaching horsemanship and 21 years of curating children's camps during school breaks. She also hosts a series of seasonal events, such as hayrides and a giant campfire, for riders.

“The 'nature trail ride' was relaxing & in the shade on a hot afternoon. The horses are perfectly trained for this activity, it's as simple as sit back and enjoy the scenery. It's the perfect outing for anyone who wants to experience a quiet trail ride. The guides are VOLUNTEERS which I wasn't aware of & make their money through tips. The horses are perfectly mannered and know exactly what to do and the staff is the same!”
“Morning is best time for a ride due to the heat”
