Can we swim close to all types of dolphins?
While you can swim as usual with Hawaiian spotted dolphins, Hawaiian bottlenose dolphins, and other wild creatures, regulations under the Marine Mammal Protection Act (starting October 28, 2021) ban a 50-yard approach to Hawaiian spinner dolphins. Therefore, you can watch and swim 50 yards away from Hawaiian spinner dolphins.
Are there age restrictions for this tour?
Yes, there are age restrictions. Adult tickets are for ages 12 and up, while children's tickets are for ages 3-11.
What should I bring or not bring on the boat?
We provide snorkel, mask, fins, and life vests. You are welcome to bring your own if preferred. Feel free to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Please remember that bananas are prohibited due to Hawaiian superstitions. You may NOT leave personal belongings on the shuttle bus, so bring only what you need onto the boat.
