What You'll Get
The best beverages all come from squeezed fruit—orange juice from oranges, cider from apples, and wine from the contents of still-life grapes. Learn more with today's Groupon: for $49, you get a 2- to 3-hour Wine 101 class from Indulge Wine School (a $99 value). This Groupon is valid at any Indulge Wine School venue, with five currently available in Boulder, Denver, the Denver Tech Center, Highlands Ranch, and Colorado Springs (and more locations to be booked).
Indulge Wine School's staff of educators expands wine knowledge with ease, having turned the tassels of more than 1,300 graduates. Follow trained professionals through a glassy meadow of six different wines, including red, white, sparkling, and dessert varietals. Students swirl and sip their study materials, nibble complimentary appetizers, and fill their mental trivia tanks with factoids on the history and production of wine, different grapes, and appropriate word choices for commenting on an unfamiliar wine's legs. Classes of 15–20 convene in private rooms of local restaurants such as Boulder Cork in Boulder and Avenue Grille in Denver. Every class ends with a question-and-answer session, where potation professors can shine a light on oenophilic mysteries such as tannin content, regional differences, and how to lead a horse to wine but keep him from drinking it. Reserve a seat, or gather a group of 15 or more for a private seminar.
