"Want to buy a bus?"

That was a text that Matt, the founder of Indy JoyRides, received one night during college. As the story goes, a happily tipsy Matt replied with a "yes." And the rest is history—Matt used the bus for Purdue tailgates for awhile, then decided to tap into his engineering background and turn the blue bus into a mobile party on wheels.

Today, that bus is the driving force behind Indy JoyRides—but it looks a bit different than it once did. The interior features horseshoe seating wrapped around a built-in bar, with plenty of space for 14 people to hang out, drink, and enjoy the ride. Popular destinations include Broad Ripple, Carmel, and Downtown, but the bus is also perfect for getting around town on special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, concerts, and bachelor and bachelorette parties.
