A Chat with Infant Swim Texas
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Swimming lessons such as "Mommy & Me" swim programs introduce children to the water without teaching them how to survive should they fall into the water alone. Parents should carefully consider the decision to teach children that water is fun before they know how to survive in it.
What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
As the parent, you are the best cheerleader your child could ask for and you are encouraged to sit at the side of the pool. We will try to give you cues as to good times to praise your child throughout the lesson.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I began teaching ISR lessons in 2000 shortly after my son graduated from the program. I was amazed how he transformed into an aquatic problem solver. Since then I have taught thousands of children throughout the United States ISR Self-RescueTM skills.
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people, and educating them about the Infant Swimming Resource Program. Watching my students learn valuable skills and develop confidence in themselves is very special and rewarding to me.
