Physicists estimate that 47% of the energy in the universe is stored in stars, and the other 98% rages inside human children. Release your child's unyielding cosmic energy with today's Groupon to Inflatable Insanity at Chapel Hill Mall. Choose between two options:
- For $4, you get a one-day child’s weekday general admission (an $8 value).
- For $5, you get a one-day child's weekend day general admission (a $10 value), valid June 1–July 30.
Inflatable Insanity is a fun, safe palace of play with ample space for bouncing boys and girls to frolic on all manner of inflatable moonwalks, slides, and obstacle courses. Rambunctious rugrats can invade enchanted strongholds on the Wizard Castle Moonwalk or act out Leonardo DiCaprio revenge fantasies on the Titanic Slide. A nine-hole miniature golf course lets bounced-out young ones test nerves and concentration while creatively tormenting caddies. Snacks and beverages are available for sale, though guests are allowed to bring their own food.
While at the facility, kids can enjoy a bevy of other pay-per-use attractions. The North Shore Railroad ($1 per child, per ride) lets children climb aboard and set off for the unknown, and a video arcade (prices vary) has simulated training grounds for future Italian plumbers or traffic-evading frogs. A critter-stuffing machine lets children play taxidermist with teddy bears ($5 per mini bear) or other animals ($10–$15 per critter), including cats, dogs, ducks, and star-nosed moles. Before each child is allowed to enter the play premises, a parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver.
Throughout the 1,500-square-foot indoor playground of Inflatable Insanity, kids surmount air-filled fortresses, only to slide down their slopes or jump on their bouncy interiors. Children under 39 inches retreat to the Tot Lot, and supervisory adults receive free admission to keep an eye on their tykes and make sure they share with their imaginary friends. Party rooms hold groups of up to 20, and hosts can parse out party favors such as self-stuffed teddy bears for an extra fee.
