Yoga is equally effective at calming modern stresses, such as accidental emails and fear of calendars, as it was at soothing ancient concerns, such as tense plague muscles and being eaten by a winged teratorn. Alleviate temporal strains with today's Groupon: for $45, you get one month of unlimited yoga ($125 students/seniors, $145 regular value) at Inner Fire Yoga on University Avenue. A mat and towel are not included in this deal.
Inner Fire Yoga is open 365 days a year with a welcoming schedule that offers more than 60 classes a week. The stretch-savvy studio is a custom-built space that adheres to the US Green Building Council's LEED guidelines for sustainable energy use, unlike many commercial yoga studios that are run on top of a Hummer fleet whose sound system has been replaced by window-unit air conditioners from 1996. A wide range of heated yoga styles is available within, including power flow yoga, a challenging blend that detoxifies through sweat and flexifies through deep stretching; hot yoga, a 90-minute hatha yoga class that incorporates 26 postures and two breathing exercises for a full mind-body workout; and inner fire flow, a sequence of set yoga postures that combines classic poses with a power flow.
Regularly practicing yoga can improve your quality of life by increasing muscle tone and flexibility, reducing stress, and stimulating weight loss. The dedicated instructors at Inner Fire Yoga bring years of experience and buckets of motivation to guide your body and mind overhaul. Recruit the guys from your sewing circle or the ladies from your crocodile-wrestling club to join you on your one-month journey across the yogaverse. Feed off the energy of friends to increase stimulation and add another friendly face into a sea of friendly faces.
This Groupon is valid for any customer who does not have an active yoga package, and has not taken a class 60 days prior to August 24, 2010.

About Inner Fire Yoga
When the team at Inner Fire Yoga says they "care profoundly about the well-being of individuals and the greater community," that's not an empty sentiment. Since opening in 2002, they've raised over $118,000 for causes both near and far, from Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS) of Dane County to the relief effort for the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. They also sponsor a scholarship program that awards a three-month unlimited membership to a deserving nominee who otherwise couldn't afford it. The latter effort speaks to Inner Fire Yoga's inclusiveness—most of their award-winning classes are open to students old and new, advanced, or just beginning. Their compassionate staff is there to guide students on a smart yoga path. All of the classes are heated, some are gently warm, and some will dial up the cardio factor.
