Q:

What % of the glycolic do you use? I have previously used 1% through a plastic surgeon, here in Salem. Is this included in your services, and how long do you leave it on? I have used it up to 90 seconds. Can you match that, and what documentation of certification does the dr. have for this through your service? Thank you!

A:

Actually we have several peel options available, including a 30% glycolic, or an enzyme based one for sensitive skin, or lactic kojic, or a specialty treatment for acne with sacrycylic. The time is individualized to the client, meaning we ask you how it feels; it should tingle but not burn. The cosmetician stays with you and makes sure it is what you want. All services are provided by licensed, experienced estheticians. One of our estheticians is peel certified through PCA, the other one has over 10 years experience.

A:

Microdermabrasion with peel is a pretty strong treatment, however, if your skin is dry or you have concerns about aging, you can replace the peel with a treatment mask without additional charge. In terms of masks, we again offer several options, including an organic product or a skin lightening one with Vitamin C. Right now, we have very good availability for appointments. I actually have an opening for tomorrow, Friday, and 2 for next Tuesday!
