About Insight Nutrition
Insight Nutrition is owned and operated by Scott Tetzner. He has had an interest in nutrition and how Whole Foods affect our body for over the past decade. In the past couple years he decided to dive deeper into the nutrition world and started by reading countless books about foods and diets, and how they influence our bodies. This started after working in the medical field for a short period of time and graduating from college with a degree in Environmental Science this fascination grew. Eventually getting a certification from American Fitness Professional Association was the push he needed to go full time into the nutrition and wellness world. Now working with a nonprofit out of San Diego (International Foundation for Nutrition and Health), as well as completing their extensive nutrition program and becoming a Certified Clinician in Whole Food Nutrition, soon after Scott started Insight Nutrition. Insight Nutrition offers a personalized and private setting for each client with initial assessments lasting about and hour and follow up sessions lasting 30 to 45 minutes. During this time the patients body measurements are recorded, review current diet, socioeconomic data, lifestyle, symptoms, and urine analysis. Based off of this information a personalized plan will be created to help either decrease symptoms, support homeostasis, nutrition therapy, or create a healthier lifestyle. Scott believes in creating a healthy lifestyle for patient and their families, and less focus on "diet". With years of studying and working in the medical field for a short period of time, he spotted where the modern medicine world has failed us and wishes to help educate others about how food can be therapeutic for all of us!
