During the four-hour Concealed Firearms Permit Class for Utah, students receive training that qualifies them to apply for a nonresident Utah Concealed Firearm Permit. Combined with a Washington license, the Utah permit allows its holders to carry concealed firearms in 33 states. The class does not involve live-fire training, and students must already possess a Washington concealed-pistol license to complete the Utah application. Washington concealed-pistol license is not a prerequisite to attend the class. All equipment is included; tuition does not include the $51 application fee for the Utah Concealed Firearm Permit. Classes are typically held on select weekends from 8 a.m.–noon or 2 p.m.–6 p.m. <p>
