Q:

Am looking for large (maybe 1" diameter") rimless glasses. I need tri-focal, tinted lens to be used for driving, reading and everything in-between. have my prescription but looking for an old-fashion rimless (no frame). Do you carry them and the cost?

Salome S.  asked on  Aug 12, 2012

A:

Hi Salome! Our rimless frames come in two different styles: a half rimless which has a partial frame at the top and bridge, and completely rimless which means the lenses are "floating" with no frame whatsoever, just the nosepiece and arms. These frames range in price anywhere from $114.99 to $154.99 depending on the style and model. In regards to your lenses, if you are thinking of doing a trifocal (i.e. your lens is divided into three, lined, distinct areas) those lenses start at $110.00. We say start at because depending on your prescription the lens material might have to be upgraded which can affect the cost. Tinting for any lens starts at $35.00. We appreciate your patience and apologize that we did not get back to you sooner! Thank you for the execellent question and have a wonderful day!

Q:

Does deal include sunglass readers? low prescription like 1.25 or 1.50, bifocal like?

wenwong  asked on  Aug 9, 2012

A:

It does include sunglass readers that can be made but it does require a valid prescription. We have a doctor that gives eye exams if a prescription is needed and he takes most insurances.
