The Harvest Hustle
The Harvest Hustle has a race for everyone. For adults, there’s a 5k run and a 1k walk, both of which welcome athletes in wheelchairs. For youngsters, there’s also a kid’s dash—an exercise far preferable to the recess game Run Until You Hit The Fence. After the morning races, whose routes boast views of Willamette River, participants can hit the Harvest Hustle Festival. The revelry features live music, craft displays, and plenty of food. Like the races, it also helps fund a good cause—proceeds from the entire event support Camp Odakoda, a camp for teens with autism.
