What You'll Get
Like a doberman dressed in human clothes, an improperly decorated room just doesn't feel right and may lead to the nightly sound of whimpers emanating from the den. Avoid discomforting decorative woes with today's Groupon: for $40, you get a one-hour interior-design consultation from Interiors by Design (an $85 value). Interiors by Design serves the Salem-Keizer area; those in outlying areas are subject to a $25 travel fee. In-store consultations are also available.
The abode beautifiers from Interiors by Design meet with clients on location to help festoon bare rooms from the ankles up or transform unsatisfactory quarters into tastefully glitzed-out havens. During the one-hour consultation, interior designers lend wisdom scaled to their clients' needs, be they grand ideas for furnishing new construction, finely tuned advice for picking floral arrangements, or simple tricks to make the lamp stop bickering with the sofa. The stylistic summit focuses on the client's priority area, and designers are happy to either supplement the plans of self-directed clients or take the reins for more daunted decorators. By the end of the consultation, customers will be armed with an array of ideas, and kitchens, bathrooms, and dens will peer over the edge at visions of their chic future selves.
Though not included with today's deal, clients can choose to cap off the design process by inviting designers back to help ornament their homes ($85/hour). During the follow-up visit, decorators skillfully adorn dwellings with furniture and accessories plucked from model rooms and shelves of Interiors by Design's 3,600-square-foot retail showroom. Custom orders are also welcome. With fresh finery in place, clients have 24 hours to choose to pay for and keep items of their liking while promising unwanted throw pillows that they'll always be friends.
