Jeanette and Neil have more than a few problems – but a healthy dose of humor – in The Quality of Life. The couple’s Northern California home has burned down and they’re living in a yurt on their property, Neil is seriously ill and Jeannette’s long-lost cousin and her husband are coming from the Midwest to visit after a personal tragedy. But the feisty and in-love couple handle things as best they can, with a few hits of medical marijuana and glasses of good red wine.
