Twenty years in the kitchen is nothing to shake a fork at. Isabella Restaurant's Peruvian chef calls upon more than two decades of experience as he takes taste buds on a tour of South America’s culinary landscape. His menu foreshadows flavorful feasts with starters such as grilled veal heart kabobs, bowls of sautéed fish soup, and papa rellena––potatoes stuffed with beef, olives, raisins, and egg—exclusively served on Sundays. The kitchen team surprises diners with unique combinations of spices and hand-cut beef fillets that star in entrees such as the lomo saltado, a top sirloin strip steak sautéed with onions, tomatoes, and french fries. Meanwhile, fresh catches populate dishes such as the pescaodo a lo macho, shellfish sautéed in a red pepper sauce and draped over a whole fish.
