Q:

Two questions: 1. I was thinking about taking this course as well as buying it for my wife as well. Can we share our textbooks or are we required to each have our own? 2. I work downtown Manhattan now and do not usually get out of work until 6pm. Are the only classes that will be available to me on Saturdays and Sundays or is it possible to get into classes as 6:30pm?

Dan C.  asked on  Sep 4, 2012

A:

Dear Dan. The course textbooks + supplementary material are really an intregal part of the class. Sharing textbooks really isn't advisable. We include the supplementay that you Must purchase as part of the 50 fee. You do need to purchase the supplemental material used in classes. Separate chg is 20. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me. Ivy beloff

Q:

Hello again. Thank you for clarifying the schedule ... does this mean that once this deal is purchased, we can arrange scheduling after 9/15 ? .. or is this deal / course only available up until 9/15 ?

Shanny C.  asked on  Sep 4, 2012

A:

Hi. You can start anytime but you need to register beforehand. Our flexible schedule allows you to come and go but you do have to do all 20 modules. You can start as early as this Thurs. evening once you register. Please note that we post our schedule at least two weeks in advance. However, we ask our students to check to see if there are any updates. As I have stated before we try to teach all of our scheduled classes even if only one student shows up. That is one advantage of coming to our school you are not set on any particular schedule. You do have to do all 20 modules. . Regards, Ivy

Q:

Is this course recommended for someone looking to learn about real estate as a side job or just if you are looking for full time work in the real estate world?

jennifer h.  asked on  Sep 4, 2012

A:

Dear Jennifer, This is the 75hr. Licensing Salesperson Course which will help you to become a licensed salesperson in the State of NY. Some brokers will allow you to work part time and some only want full time salespersons. The beauty of our school is that I know brokers that will accept both types of salespersons. I personally believe that anyone that if anyone, ever wants to buy a house, cooperative, condo or wants rents an apartment that what you learn will be invaluable to them. You can also become a property manager and learn how to invest in real estate. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me. Ivy Beloff

Q:

How is it possible to take the class at many different times during the week? do you have to commit to certain days, hours? can I see a schedule of classes available

susan l.  asked on  Sep 4, 2012

A:

Hi. We offer our classes with a very flexible schedule. The beauty of our school is that you do not have to take the 20 modules for the course in order. You can start with module 1 or 10 or 20. They are all independent of one another. If you attended all of our classes the way they are schedule you could complete our classes in two weeks or you can take up to 6 mos. to complete the course. You do not have to tell us when you are showing up and on less there is an emergency we will even teach if only one student shows up. Our website is nyrealed.com once you are on on website go to licensing salesperson then take you mouse to the curriculum and we have our scheduled posted. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me. Ivy
