Q:

The groupon mentions this is a four hour class and approx 50 people attend, is the class so long because one has to wait the turn to make one item? I attended a glassblowing class once before and only spent 5 minutes making one item but the class was three hours long. I don't want to have to watch everybody make an item. Do you offer classes that are more one on one? Mary

Mary D.  asked on  Oct 10, 2012

A:

Hi Mary. Our current Groupon offer is not a Glass Blowing Class, its more of a social event centered around Glass Blowing. We serve food and drinks, listen to music, and mingle with people all while watching and partaking in making something with Hot Glass. Everybody gets the opportunity to make a piece. We have done this many times in the past with great success and many happy customers. Its meant to be a night out of fun, and an afordable way to try out Glass Blowing. If you would rather take a more regimented class, I suggest our 3 hour Glass Blowing Experience Class($125.00) which runs every Sat morning from 9a.m.-noon. There are 2 instructors, and only 8 students, and everybody gets plenty of time to make 2 items. We do offer 1 on 1 lessons($90.00 per hour) call to schedule. Thanks. Chris.

Q:

Can I bring my 8 year old to this event? Would I need a groupon for each of us or only one groupon if only my 8 year old wanted to do this?

Aleen M.  asked on  Oct 10, 2012

A:

Hi Aleen. This particular offer is more Adult oriented, but you are welcome to bring your son, and partake. We I would recomend that you try our Pumpkin making weekend(oct 12th and 13th) Or our Christmas Ornament making Weekend(nov 23rd and 24th) Its the same price($40.00 per person), and its more family oriented. Call us at 216 451 4774 for more details.

Q:

How many people can attend one session?

Susan K.  asked on  Oct 10, 2012

A:

Hi Susan. There will be 50 people at each event. The Events usually last 3 to 4 hours. We set this up as a social evening centered around our Hot Shop, and Glass Blowing. Everybody gets to make something out of glass, and also gets to hang out with us, eat, drink, and listen to music. We have done many times in the past, and everybody seems to enjoy it.
