About J House Restaurant
J House Restaurant specializes in proteins with integrity. In accordance with the chefs' preference for local and sustainably farmed produce, the poultry is free-range, the beef is grass-fed, and the salmon is plucked fresh from the market and smoked in house.
In an open kitchen, the chefs use these ingredients to create a diverse assortment of refined American cuisine. Tender filet mignon appears on the menu alongside grilled octopus and handmade agnolotti with sweet corn and truffle butter. A more global influence produces sushi rolls—such as the Volcano Roll with tempura-fried shrimp, spicy tuna, and crispy Panko flakes—and wood-fired pizzas featuring everything from pesto to house-made duck sausage.
The casual elegance of the J House Restaurant's menu is complemented by the plush, earth-toned dining room. A chandelier resembling a network of roots extends down from the ceiling amid leather banquettes—which extend even onto the covered patio, backed by walls of ivy and other greenery. This natural focus is also reflected in the decor's eco-friendly touches. Every menu is printed on recycled paper, and the dining room's floorboards are made from wood reclaimed from trees that weren't using it anymore.
